Two quick little notes:

First, being horribly behind in current movies, I just saw How to Train Your Dragon (3 times actually :D).  Scottish vikings aside, what a thoroughly enjoyable movie!  One of my biggest beefs with a lot of today's CG movies is the makers attempt at making characters look realistic, be it character design (Polar Express, the upcoming Mars Needs Moms), or the textures (I always thought the food textures near the end of Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs were kind of gross).  There are also some that resort a little too much to, what I consider, crude humour (such as a certain franchise with yet another Scottish accented individual).  How to Train Your Dragon avoids all of this and yet manages to be highly entertaining.  Imagine that.  Two little things that stood out for me were the way toothless moved when defending Huccup from the monstrous nightmare and Stoic's silent "What the-" (my wife and I both agreed that it's pretty good to be able to lip read a cartoon).  Besides the misplaced Scottishness, my only complaints are, I found Hiccup's voice a trifle irritating, and in one scene in particular the animation oddly drowns out the dialog (I'm talking about when Gobber looses his tooth in his mug and works at retrieving it.  I still haven't heard what Stoic is saying in the background :().   There are a lot of other CG movies I've enjoyed but this one really hit me unexpectedly (I saw its trailer at the same time as the one for Despicable Me and HTTYD just looked dull compared to Gru.  Oops).  All in all, I highly recommend this one.  Of course it ultimately boils down to personal taste but what the heck!

Second, shameless plug.  To all you Sack-boys and girls out there, check out  Krindle Canyon.  A level for LBP2 I just published.  Lemme know if it's any good :D
